Biography

I am Khenyatta. I have been fascinated with music since I was a small child. My passion for music has always been very strong. I felt like I could possibly have a career doing what I love, so I decided to attend Full Sail University, and pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Music Production.
I can help this industry by staying true to music and making sure that the music I create is authentic yet memorable. Music has played a major roll in my life for as long as I can remember. Music also provides a connection to memories for many others. I want to help provide that memory for others, by creating fresh, innovative musical ideas that will bring joy and happiness along with encouragement to the lives of others.
I sing, play a couple of instruments, write songs, and produce music. Since I was old enough to carry a tune, I have been singing in church either through the choir or performing solos. I have played the drums by ear since I was about 7 or 8 years old, and when I was around 9 years old, I began playing the piano by ear well enough to be the musician for a few local churches in my hometown. As I grew older I started writing my own songs and also playing for other local singing groups in the area.
I am currently working on building my portfolio by creating beats and writing songs so that I can work in the industry one day. I am a military wife so I travel a lot. I am also a stay at home mom, which allows me plenty of time to create and keep my vocals active and warmed up.
What others can expect if they work with me is a quiet, laid back, and focused person. I am a christian. I work well with others, but can also self start if needed. This is partially due to my experience in the military. I am a hard worker, dedicated and very motivated. I am a good and active listener, which means I try to ensure that I give clients exactly what they are looking for in a project. I am a strong believer in showing respect and being an active team player.
